A typical mountain village of ancient construction, Castello di Fiemme stands in a spacious, sunny, grassy hollow known for its dry, healthy climate.

Castello di Fiemme takes its name from the ancient medieval castle that once overlooked the village, destroyed in 1296 and replaced by the nineteenth-century parish church of San Giorgio.

In the middle of the village, you can see the picturesque “Roman houses” – four medieval buildings that bear witness to the valley's ancient history – and numerous rustic-stately homes with wooden staircases and sacred fresco decorations.

Nearby, Doss Zelòr and the Brozin Biotope offer nature trails through flower-filled meadows and pine forests, ideal for scenic walks and moments of true relaxation.
